DISCERNING & DISCOVERY: A PURSUE CLARITY EXPERIENCE

Over this past month, 33 people set aside a few days to discern God’s calling for them and for the church in Canada, in small groups across three Alliance districts, through Pursue Clarity.

The New Ventures approach hinges on pursuing clarity. And one tool we’ve developed over the years is a short retreat, or “space,” designed to open up conversations and opportunities to hear from God. Each year we invite our New Ventures Apprentices, and other discerning leaders, to these few special days to focus on hearing God speak through three questions: Who is God calling me to be? Where and to whom? And What is He asking me to do?

For intimate gatherings like this, it was a full house! Christ-followers of all ages, from a variety of cultural contexts and languages spoken, are exploring fresh calling in their lives and renewed vision. God moves in big ways through seemingly small spaces like this.
